The Alliance of Free Stars is a fictional alliance of alien species
in the universe of the computer game Star Control. They were destroyed by the
Ur-QuanKzer-Za and their Hierarchy of Battle Thralls as
seen in Star Control I, but rebuilt as the New
Alliance of Free Stars although, actually, the player (in Star
Control II) can choose the name from a list of possibilities. Its
