Alonzo Gee (born May 29, 1987) is an American professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards of the NBA.

Professional career

Alonzo Gee played his college basketball at the University of Alabama. After going undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft, Gee was signed by the Austin Toros of the NBA Developmental League. Gee excelled in Austin, averaging 21 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. On March 7, 2010, Gee was signed to a 10-day contract by the Washington Wizards of the NBA. Gee made his NBA debut on March 11 in a game against the Atlanta Hawks, scoring 2 points and grabbing 2 rebounds in 7 minutes of playing time. On March 16, Gee recorded his first career double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against the Denver Nuggets. The next day, he was rewarded with a second 10-day contract.
