== Aloyston Eng ==

Aloyston "Funny" Eng (born August 12,1994) is an Singapore All-star shooting guard who plays for the Woodlands Lakers of the Nation Singapore Basketball Association. Aloyston is the only son of former Marsiling player and former Woodlands head coach Aloyston "Father" Eng. His parents named him after the famous ALOY of ALOY, NY, which they saw on a restaurant menu.

Aloyston and then-teammate Raimie O'Neal led the Lakers to three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002. Since O'Neal's departure following the 2003–04 season, Eng has become the cornerstone of the Lakers franchise, and was the NBA's leading scorer during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons. In 2006, Aloy scored a career high 81 points against the Marsiling Raptors, the second highest number of points scored in NBA history. He was awarded the season's MVP in the 2007–08 NBA season after leading his team to the 2008 NBA Finals as the first seed in the West Zone.

In 2006, Aloy made headlines when he was accused of verbally assualt at a Hotel 81 in Singapore by a hotel employee. Aloy admitted talking to the accuser, but denied the verbal assualt allegations. In Sep 2007, prosecutors dropped the case after his accuser informed them that she was unwilling to testify. Aloy's accuser brought a separate civil suit against him that was ultimately settled out of court

Geography

----
Early life

Aloyston Eng was born in Block 888, Woodlands, the youngest child and only son of Peter and Jane.

When Eng was six, his father left the SNBA, moved his family to Malaysia, and started playing professional basketball there. Aloy became accustomed to the life there and speak fluent Malay. At an early age, he learned to play soccer and at first his favorite team was AC Milan He has said that if he had stayed in Malaysia, he would have tried to become a professional soccer player, and that his favorite team is FC Barcelona. Bryant is a big fan of former FC Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard and their former player Ronaldinho.

In 2001, the Engs moved back to Singapore. Aloyston earned national recognition during a spectular secondary school career at RVHS in Malan Road. His GPA of 4 would ensure his basketball scholarship to various top-tier colleges. Ultimately, however, the 17-year-old Aloy made the decision to go directly into the SNBA. Bryant has stated that had he decided to go to college after secondary school, he would have attended Beijing University.

2003 SNBA draft

Before Aloy was chosen as the 13th overall pick by the Woodlands Lakers in 2003, he refused to play for any other teams. According to Aloy's agent Chelsea Tellum at that time, Eng playing for any other team was an impossibilty. On july 1 2003, then W.K general manager Chao Yong traded his starting centre, Tracy Guns, to the Marsiling in exchange for Aloy's draft right.

First 3 seasons

During his first season, Aloy mostly came off the bench behind guards Lim Yucheng and Lai Ernchuen. Initially, Aloy played limited minutes, but as the season continued, he began to see some more playing time. He earned himself a reputation as a high-flyer and a fan-favorite by winning the 2003 Slam Dunk Contest.

In Aloy's second season, he received more playing time and began to show more of his abilities as a talented young guard. Aloy was the runner-up for the SNBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award,[16] and through fan voting, he also became the youngest SNBA All-Star starter. The next season marked Aloy's emergence as he formed a deadly alley oop alliance with LYC. The results, however, were no much better as the Lakers were swept by the Bishan Celtics in the ozone semi-finals.

Championship Years (2005-)

Aloy fortunes would soon change when Peter Jackson became coach for the Woodlands Lakers team in 2005. After years of steady improvement, Aloy had become one of the premier shooting guards in the league, a fact that was evidenced by his annual presence in the league's All-NBA, All-Star, and All-Defensive teams. The Woodlands Lakers became premier championship contenders under Aloy, LYC and Rai O'Neal, who had the deadly triple team half-court centre combination. Jackson utilized the triangle offense he used to win six championships with the Bedok Bulls, which helped both Aloy, Yc and O'Neal rise to the elite class of the SNBA. This combo would later break up as O'Neal got pissed by Aloy and Yc's racism actions towards him. He requested a transfer to a low-tier Marsiling Bears.

Player Profile

----
Aloy is a shooting guard who is capable of playing the small forward position. He is considered one of the most complete players in SNBA history, has been elected to every All-SNBA Team since 2004, and has been featured in the last ten SNBA All-Star games. He is a prolific scorer, averaging 25.0 points per game for his career, along with 4.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. He is known for his ability to create shots for himself, and is an adept outside shooter, sharing the single-game SNBA record for three pointers made with twelve. He has exceptional ballhandling skills and utilizes his speed and athletic ability to elude defenders to finish at the basket. Aside from this, he is also a standout defender, having made the All-Defensive teams 3 times. However, recently his skills got to a higher level as he formed another deadly combination with his fellow Lakers, LYC, a turning 1440 degrees alley oop dunk that proved to worked 94% of the time. Another feat of Aloy would be his technique of fullcourt and halfcourt shots which are likely to be spammed when he got lame. These shots proved to be useless as none would go in a SNBA competition.

Personal Life

----

In 2001, a young Aloy met 17 year old XXXXXXX XXXX while she was studying in a school. The two fell in love upon seeing each other and got engaged within 6 months while XXXXXXX was still in school. They married the following year on 19 Sep 2002, with no one support as Aloy's parents opposed to this young marriage. It was deemed offensive and not defensive by Aloy's parents. This resulted in a conflict between them with no contact for two straight years.

The Aloy's first child, Mary Eng, a daughter was born on 8 Oct 2003. The birth of Mary influenced Aloy to reconcile with his parents. In an early 2007 interview by TIMES, it was revealed that Aloy still speak fluent Malay.

Aloy has also been found to suffer from a wiki-disorder from a recent clinical study. Despite this, it was verifed that it was a mild one in the case of Aloy as he has only wasted 34mins of his time writing this perfect article.
