America Abroad is an international affairs public radio program produced by America Abroad Media that is distributed in the United States by Public Radio International (PRI). The program is also distributed internationally by National Public Radio (NPR) Worldwide. The program is anchored by Ray Suarez and Deborah Amos, and it broadcasts on more than 220 US public radio stations, including 9 of the top 10 and 21 of the top 25 markets. The program can also be heard on XM satellite radio and in more than 145 countries on NPR Worldwide. America Abroad reaches an estimated 700,000 listeners in the United States, and more than 1,000,000 listeners around the world.

Each program is one hour, focuses on a single issue, and consists of four segments: a special report that brings listeners up to date on the status of the issue today with international and domestic perspectives; an in-depth history segment that draws on archival audio to provide context for current events; an eyewitness segment that features first-person reflections from decision-makers closely involved with a crisis or issue related to the theme; and a report from abroad that provides listeners with non-US perspectives and insights on the issue at hand.

America Abroad began broadcasting on February 1, 2003, with a debut program on the invasion of Iraq. The program was broadcast six times per year until a debut as a monthly program in September 2007.
