The American Fascist Movement was started in early 2001. Fed up with the decadent political system, two young American college students decided that a change was imperative to raise public consciousness in support of ideals for a greater America. On March, 1, 2001, the first site was erected and thus the American Fascist Movement was born.

At the time there was no American Fascist Party, and at that time there was no need for one. Hence the American Fascists started the AFM. An "American Fascist Party" site had popped up but was more or less a joke by unknown site owners. Further down the road a man named Seth Tyrssen took up the struggle to end political corruption by attempting to start an actual American Fascist Party. We worked with Seth and he proved an ardent Fascist willing to take on the challenge to help foster American Fascism; the Fascist Conferation was thus born, consolidating efforts and information between the AFM and AFP.

Realizing that running an organization online was problematic and had limitations, the AFM transcended into a meeting ground for Fascists, Nationalists, Populists, and anyone who supports National Renewal. Besides offering information and organizing political activism, the AFM also provides supporters with Fascist literature and merchandise to help build the movement and Party.

More recently, April of 2006, Seth Tyrssen resigned as Party Leader. The Party was in a state of indecision and indirection. Fortunately members of the Party and Movement got together to keep the Party alive. Thus the idea of a new American Fascist Party was born. Although there are some differences between Movement and Party members, the AFP has always heavily relied on the AFM site and forums for membership- without the movement there would be no Party. Similarly, the movement relies on the Party for national progress. Thus the AFM will now serve as a building block for the Party. The AFM, with the help of YOU, will be instrumental in building the new American Fascist Party to new national heights.

The old Party had serious ineffeciencies and lacked a solid structure or progressive platform which is vital for any political Party to survive. The New Party will do in a matter of months what the old Party failed to do in four years: It will be established by mid-July, 2006- with a new membership and leadership structure, platform, and National Vision. With an emphasis on National unity, social, economic and political progress, the AFM and AFP have no doubt helped shape a wide range of individuals and their political beliefs. Both organizations have seen people come and go but it is those who remain true to the movement and true to Fascism who will help make this nation great once again.

WHAT FASCISM IS NOT:

Racism or Nazism:

Races, though unique, are equal; individuals, however, are not. Regardless of color, men are not created the same, yet, each may use his or her unique talents for virtue. Beware of neo-nazi organiztations claiming to be fascist, under the guise of "White Nationalism" or self proclaimed "Aryan Fascists".

Materialism:

Fascism does not see history as class struggle, and denies that there is nothing to life, and power politics, except what one can put in one's mouth or pocket.

Globalism:

Internationalist institutions (economic, hegemonic, or other) cannot be allowed to erode the freedom and sovereignty of nations. The integrity of all cultures must be preserved.

Capitalism or Communism:

Both Capitalism and Communism are materialist systems that promote degeneracy and crush the human spirit. They consider nothing but man's basest instincts; but man cannot live on peace, land, and bread alone.

Superficiality:

Democracy has become, inevitably, a popularity contest. Innovative candidates are prevented from rising, for fear of their being "unelectable." Who wins? Democrat or Republican, it's the same man everytime, the one deemed sufficiently bland for mass consumption, or worse: a flashy name with nothing behind it! No wonder we've become apathetic and cynical!

WHAT FASCISM IS:

Meritocracy or Timocracy:

The Degree of which men and women manifest honor and merit in the service of their country is determent of their place in civil society.

Sacrifice:

"Fascism now and always, believes in holiness and in heroism; that is to say, in actions influenced by no economic motive, direct or indirect."

Nationalism:

"Everything in the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state." OR "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."

Cooperation or State Corporatism:

Though private property and free trade must be upheld and defended, business ultimately serves the greater good of the state, and must be guided towards Just and Noble purposes.

Virtue:

If there is such a thing as "good" and "evil", if there is such a thing a a right and a wrong way; is the right way always the popular way, the way a majority votes? No! Usually it is not. The majority votes the easy way: The path of least resistance, and is thus exploited by the current elite. Fascism alone has the moral courage to do the right thing. For the state, no matter what. Above all, a Fascist believes in virtue and will thus tell you the truth, and not just what you want to hear! Truth, courage, integrity!
