American Football League
Hall of Fame
in Amherst, New York was founded in response
to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's
perceived bias in favour of the National Football League. The
American Football League Hall of Fame exists "only in cyberspace", to quote its
authors. The site points out that of two hundred and twenty-one
members of the "pro football" hall of fame, only one was not an NFL
player, and that numerous clearly great players from the AFL have
been ignored, including Johnny Robinson, Ron McDole, Lionel Taylor and others.|
