In the final week of senior year at American High School, Gwen Adams (Jillian Murray) considers divorce when confronting the pressures of married life with new husband Holden (Talan Torriero). She marries Holden because her rival Hilary Weiss (Aubrey O'Day) is also trying to be his girlfriend. She faces the problems created by Hilary's plot to become prom queen. After winning the prom, she dumps her husband because she is leaving town and is finally free of Hilary. As the film ends, Hilary is shown getting beaten up by the male members of the cast for being such a whore.
