American Vampire is an ongoing series created by writer Scott Snyder[1], which will feature two stories - one by Snyder and the other by Stephen King for the first five issues, and drawn by Rafael Albuquerque. [2]

Plot

The series will explore notions of vampire evolution and trace the bloodline of a new kind of vampire[3], an American species, with new powers and characteristics, through various decades of American history.[4]

Release

This series publication began on March 17, 2010.[5][6] with the release of American Vampire #1. This is the first comic which features original Stephen King scripting. Stephen King is contracted to the initial five issues in which it has not been stated if he will return to the series.
