American Sentinel is a private university, offering distance-learning degree and certificate programs in technology, healthcare and business. American Sentinel University was established through the joining of two separate schools: American College of Computer & Information Sciences (founded in 1988) and American Graduate School of Management (founded in 2000). The combined school offered the technology programs of the former and the business programs of the latter, and since the merger has created new offerings in these areas and in new areas such as health care. The school maintains offices in Denver, Colorado and Birmingham, Alabama.
American Sentinel University offers online accredited ASSOCIATE Degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Business Administration and Health Information Management. BACHELOR'S Degrees in Computer Science, Game Programming specialization, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems specialization, Information Systems Security, Technology Management, Web Design and Development, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, RN to BSN completion (Nursing), and RN to MSN.
