Amie Barrodale is an American comedy writer. She is currently assistant editor of The Onion. She has contributed to many publications in some capacity or other, McSweeney's for one.

Born in a May of the late 1970s in or near Houston, Texas, or Lake Charles, Louisiana, she was defintely raised in the American South. Later she went to New York City. Barrodale's slinky feline beauty is both notorious and intoxicating among the literary elite. Primarily a humorist Barrodale's work often incorporates journalism, the farce of human anguish, and humiliation.
