Amos Biegun is the CEO of Counterpoint Systems, a worldwide supplier of royalty calculation software and other information systems to the music, film, television and licensing industries.
Having collected a Bachelors degree in Economics at Tel Aviv University and for his Master of Science degree in Economics at the London School of Economics, Biegun entered the music industry in 1990 as Operations Manager at Carlin Music.
During his term at Carlin Music, he completely overhauled its administration processes, reduced staffing levels and increased profitability.
Biegun was instrumental in introducing state of the art computing systems, including Counterpoint’s enterprise publishing systems and optical image storage systems for contract management.
Biegun was also instrumental in the setting-up of Carlin Music’s offices in Paris, France (an office he maintains strong links with) and assisted in the updating of information systems and communications for Carlin Music’s headquarters in New York.
