Amy Kitcher is a Welsh politician for the Liberal Democrats.

Kitcher was raised in Merthyr Tydfil, and she still lives in the Pentrebach area of the town with her family[1].
In 2008 Kitcher became Merthyr Tydfil's youngest ever female councillor[citation needed]. In 2007, she was the Liberal Democrats' candidate for the Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney constituency in the National Assembly for Wales election, where she polled 15.2% of the vote, seeing her come second to Huw Lewis of Labour Co-operative[1].
In 2010, Kitcher was the Liberal Democrats' candidate for the Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney constituency in the United Kingdom general election in which she came second to Dai Havard of the Labour Party[2].
