Amy Ouzoonian (b. 1978) is an American poet, playwright, journalist and artist. She received her BA in Journalism and Creative Writing for the Theater from SUNY New Paltz. She is the author of Your Pill (ISBN 0-941053-39-3)(pub. Foothills Publishing, 2004) and is the editor of two anthologies: Skyscrapers, Taxis and Tampons(Fly By Night Press, 1999) and In the Arms of Words: Poems for Tsunami Relief(Sherman Asher Press, 2005). She is also one of the editors for A Gathering of the Tribes Magazine issues # 8-10. Currently she produces a variety show that goes up every other month, The Patsy and Pussy Variety Show. This show is co-hosted by a six foot tall talking vagina and has featured acts such as The Mangina, Master Lee, The New York Howl, Haunted Pussy, The Fools, Jessica Delfino and The O'Debra Twins. She is the author of three plays that have been produced off Broadway, Last Dance, Dying to Meet David Hassellhoff and Of Love and Bush, the latter was also produced and directed by Ouzoonian at WOW Cafe Theater in September 2006. Ouzoonian lives and writes in Brooklyn, NY.
