Ancient Sanctuary(AST) is the eleventh English booster to be released in the Yu-Gi-Oh!Trading Card Game and the last one to follow the original English booster format (two Secret Rares, ten Ultra Rares, ten Super Rares).
It was the last pack to contain Secret Rare cards until Strike of Neos.
It is comprised of the Japanese sets Sanctuary of the Sky and Pharaonic Heritage.
It focuses mainly on Fairy and Machine-type Monsters.
Some of the Fairies include the Agent Monsters, who have powerful effects when the card "Sanctuary in the Sky" is in play.
Highly sought after cards include Blowback Dragon, Enemy Controller, Zaborg the Thunder Monarch, Sanctuary in the Sky, King of the Swamp, Archlord Zerato, and Mazera De Ville.
It contains two Secret Rares, ten Ultra Rares, ten Super Rares, seventeen Rares, and seventy-three Commons.
