Anderton Road, Sparkbrookis a local road, in the Birmingham region of Sparkbrook, in which the main residents of the area are of Indian origin. It has a local community mosque, fish and chip shop, Newsagent, Halal Butchers, Convenience Stores, Asian jewellers, local pub and entrance to the Canalside walk which leads up to several destinations in the West Midlands.

History



Historically the old printing press was located at the top of Anderton Road, and the Timber Merchants in the Middle whom now have changed to a Social Committee for the area, and a glass making place. Additionally the Old Post Office was removed from the area as part of the Post Office restructure.
