Andrea Vasi (classical pianist).
Andrea Vasi is a very talented young pianist from the Netherlands.
Ms.
Vasi was born on January 29, 1989.
She has a Romanian father and a Dutch mother.
Starting to play the piano at age 6, she was accepted four years later at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
Here she studies with Mrs. Ellen Corver.
In the last years, she won prizes at all prestigious competitions in the Netherlands (e.g.
1st prize, press prize and public award at the Princess Christina Competition), and gave concerts throughout the world (e.g.
United States, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Belgium).
Ms. Vasi played twice in Carnegie Hall (New York) and the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam).
She is very well-known for her chamber music talents, and won several prizes for her activities with ensembles.
Many of her concerts were broadcasted on radio or television.
