Andrei Lubensky (born
February 6,
1959) is
Russian poet and writer. He was born in
Moscow, but spent his
childhood in
Snezhinsk city (the Russian Federal Nuclear
Center) in the
Ural Mountains. A graduate of the historical
faculty of the Ural University<!-- this may be Ural State
University --> at
Ekaterinburg, Andrei Lubensky then went to
Ukraine working as a
journalist for several newspapers (Komsomolskoe Znamya, Kievskie
Vedomosty, Grany Plus (
Kiev))
and the internet publishing houses (Obozrevatel, ForUm,
Telekritika, Politikantrop, Context-Media (Kiev), Pravda.ru,
Yтро.Ru (Moscow), NuclearNo.Ru (
Krasnoyarsk, Russia) and New Region
(Russia).
Andrei Lubensky is one of the initiators of the
"
Help
children" international action. He works as not established
consultant of the Ukrainian Parliament Committee on Freedom of the
Press.

A. Lubensky is the author of the poems named
as “The Bells of the Hell”, “Ray Bradbury’s Mars”, “Hey, he’s a
Fish” (engl. the Mentor, Australia), fairy tales for children
“Elemoont” (
Slun), “The
adventures of the little dragon Okho”, a series of articles under
“Short History of Russian «Fantastika»” general title (engl. the
Mentor, Australia), "Error!. Еще Error!" (collected articles, notes
, and interviews of freedom of the press, 2005), "Sulphuric Acid,
Hot Pitch, Orange Brand" e-book (in Russian, 2005), and numerous
weekly political surveys .
