Andrew Wellman is an American novelist. He was
born in Detroit, Michigan in 1968.<br /><br />
After
winning the 1989 Playboy College Fiction Contest for the short
story, "The Madison Heights Syndrome", his novel, "
S.F.W." was published in 1991 and made
into a 1994 feature film starring Stephen Dorff and Reese
Witherspoon.

post was made on Thursday, January 4, 2007 letting fans of the film
know he is still writing.
