==Andy Beard the Man, the Legand, and the Cause==
When I told
Andy Beard that Wikipedia has nominated him to be included as an
Famous SEO Consult he replied,
>A listing on that page wouldn't
be appropriate because I don't do any consulting
I really
admire the sheer modesty of the man.
He will band his back and go
out of his way to help people in the industry.
But, I still
think he is an SEO consultant even if he does not consult companies
he consults his users on andybeard.eu
del.icio.us/AndyBeardHe is a
humble quiet man, so it is not going to be easy to find
notable material on him,
but with time I am sure it will be done.
But the type of
consultancy that he is doing, can be better calles
Social
media consultantAndy is a 38 year old guy from Orpington,
England, UK.
He spend most of my time living in Poland, but runs
his online business from the UK. He write about Niche Marketing,
SEO, Affiliate Marketing and Blogging, plus a little on ethical
marketing through social networks.
His stumbles are heavily
related to the topic of my blog and I try to tag them
appropriately.
One of his passions is Wordpress, and in particular
how it can be optimized for SEO.
He write a lot about blogging
social networks such as Blogcatalog, Mybloglog and Bumpzee.
He
also does a very limited amount of consulting with
Blogcatalog.<ref>

LinkedIn Profile
An experienced
executive who has played a defining role in diverse disciplines
within the software industry. Has an open and enquiring mind,
refined communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability
to adapt to a fast paced and ever changing industry.
Regarding
my Internet activities a colleague has thus described me
" Andy
is definately the kind of guy I’d like to get to know better, and I
do hope that over time we get to know each other more. We have a
lot of similar interests, and I can tell he’s the kind of guy who
needs to know both the how and the why of the way things work.
Unlike a lot of others who have that drive to know, Andy also
has a drive to apply. He is right now working on a project that he
simply won’t tell me a lot about yet, but the hints he’s droped,
both in his blog and in an email or two, leave me with that 8 year
old at Christmas kind of energetic, barely contained anxiousness. I
can’t wait to see what he cooks up."
