Andy Shaw is an award-winning Chicago journalist who has covered politics, business, education, and every-day news, at the City News Bureau of Chicago, Chicago Sun-Times, NBC 5, and ABC 7. He has been in jounralism for 37 years.[1]
Andy Shaw was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in a suburb called Evanston. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Andy Shaw is the father-in-law of Chris Hayes, and has appeared a number of times on MSNBC.[2][1]
Shaw and his wife Mary live in Chicago's Lincoln Park area and have three daughters.[1]
