Angie Cepeda (born Angélica María Cepeda Jiménez; August 2, 1974) is a Colombian actress.

Cepeda was born to José Cepeda and Yadhira Jiménez in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, and raised in Barranquilla. After her parents divorced she lived with her mother and two older sisters (one of whom is actress Lorna Paz).
There was a time she thought of studying publishing, however she discovered her vocation in drama and moved out to Bogotá and stayed with an aunt. Angie began her drama courses, then she was contracted by a beer company and made some advertisements for it. Next, she played some bit parts in several soap operas and movies in Colombia.
Cepeda's lucky break was when she got a role in the soap opera Las Juanas, opposite Susana Torres, getting the attention of some TV producers who offered her interesting jobs in prime time shows; most memorable of them was her leading role in Luz Maria (1998), co-starring Christian Meier and Rosalinda Serfaty, and her leading role as Fiorella Morelli Flores de Mejía Guzmán in Pobre Diabla (2000), opposite Salvador del Solar and Santiago Magill.
In the cinematic world, Peruvian director Francisco Lombardi convinced her to portray a prostitute called "La Colombiana" in Pantaleón y las Visitadoras (released in English as Captain Pantoja and the Special Services). It was a smash hit in Colombia, Spain, Peru and Argentina and got good reviews for her performance. She also got got huge compliments to her beauty and sensuality due to the nudity and steamy sex scenes in the movie with Salvador del Solar.
Cepeda starred in Suddenly, Paradise (2004), Sammy and Me (2003), and Captain Pantoja and the Special Services (1999), for which she received rave reviews. Before she jumped into film, Angie was a successful soap opera actress in Luz María and Pobre Diabla. Love for Rent is Angie's premiere English speaking feature.
Cepeda had a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, singer Diego Torres. She tries to spend as much times with her niece and nephew as possible. She is 5 ft 5 in (165 cm) in height[1] and prefers to live alone.
