Anime Sushi is a Japanese Animation Fan club started in 1998 by John Bohlen, Carmel Bohlen, Mark Harsha, and Mark Frankenfield, based in Orlando, Florida. <br />
<br />
Anime Sushi was spawned after the founders (The above list is people who remained with Animesushi) had an internal split with the Japanese Animation club of Orlando (JACO).<br />
<br />

Since 2005, Anime Sushi has been handling the Coordination of Anime Related events for Megacon, one of the Southeasts largest Anime, Sci-Fi and Comic conventions.

Showings<br />
Animesushi now has bi-monthly showings at our location in Winter Park on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, from 5pm to 10pm.

Cyberia History: (full of gaping holes due to drunken memory)<br />
2002 Cyberia is born at Jacon at the Hilton with 3 DJ's : Jurgen, Sushiboy, & Operator 7G<br />
The video projection screens show anime as the anime themed dance debuts in Florida.<br />
2002 Cyberia debuts at ACC Expo in Ft. Lauderdale: 2 DJ's are added DJ's Kaos & Megaplay<br />
2003 Cyberia debuts at Megacon<br />
2003 Cyberia debuts at Anime Express<br />
2003 Cyberia returns to Jacon, the screens now display random images of anime, videogames, and video<br />
It is accounced that:<br />
2003 Cyberia debuts at AWA 9 with the 7G, Jurgen, Sushiboy, Megaplay lineup.<br />

2004 A new lounge conception is added. Since the theme of Jacon '04 was Studio 54 a, 21 & Up, chill lounge called Fresh Fish Lounge is introduced. Free sushi is displayed on top of a mannequin (named Helena) and a cash bar is introduced.<br />
Also 2004 VJ Chocobo Machine is added, giving greater control over what can be displayed.<br />

2004 @ AWA X: The Night the Lights Went out in Georgia: Sushi staffers and hotel electricians scramble for over 30 minutes a set was cut due to an electrical failure. This is noted as 2 other anime themed dances were happening simultaneously. Partons of those dances then cleared out to investigate the Anime Sushi dance stayed when the music returned.<br />
<br />

2006: DJ Sushiboy is now VJ Pressurewave and runs videos similaniously with VJ Chocobo Machine. Also, former head of security Mr. Slippery is now added to the lineup of DJs.<br />
