Anna Novruzyan was an Armenian princess who lived during the Bagratuni Dynasty in the 7th century. She was known for her great beauty and her knowledge and skills in military tactics. She encouraged her troops to use what would be later termed "guerrilla tactics." She delivered her famous "Erjankouchan Artounkner " speech on Mount Ararat during the first Russo/Armenian War of 650 A.D.

However, her decline was tragic, because King Vartan from the house of Mikayelyan over took her land, and made her a vassal queen, and that was the end of Anna Novruzyan.
