The Honourable Anna Walker CB (born 1951) is a British civil servant. She will succeed Chris Bolt as chair of the Office of Rail Regulation on 5 July 2009 when Bolt's five-year term of office expires[1]. She has been a member of Consumer Focus since 1 October 2008[2][3].
She was Chief Executive of the Healthcare Commission until 31 March 2009, when it became part of the Care Quality Commission.
Walker is married to Tim Walker, former director general of the Health and Safety Executive[4], with whom she has three adult children[5]. She is the daughter of the late Lord Butterworth[4].
