ANNOO -A fictional planet in
the Star Wars Extended Universe. Located in the midrim. this was
the original homeworld of the Annoo-dat Prime race. Some 322 years
before the Battle of Yavin, the planet's natural resources had been
exhausted, and the Annoo-dat Prime were forced to abandon their
homeworld and seek out a new place to live. They eventually
conquered the Ret and took control of the planet Gelefil, which was
later renamed to Annoo, in honor of the original homeworld of the
Annoo-dat Prime. Upon retirement from the Jedi Order Joriv Aneri
Génnesar and Gen-Joriseté Benise Déattrod two Ancient Jedi Masters,
helped the planet regrow vegitation bringing the planet back into a
natural state of equilibrium. It was a forgotten system however and
no one was aware of the Temple built by Rod-Wan Déattrod's
(Gen-Jo's father) Ancestors.
