The Anonycat Web Proxy is web-based software that allows you to surf the web anonymously, in order to protect your privacy or to bypass overly restrictive firewalls or netnanny/blocking software. Tom Cervenka first developed the Anonycat Project, which is an open-source project developed in the java programming language.


To Access Anonycat use any of the following options (if Blocked):

1. Google for 'Anonycat' and click on 'cached' so that you can read these instructions.

2. Try using Anonycat via the address:
http://anonycat.no-ip.info/servlet/varsitech.anonycat.AnonycatServlet

3. If that doesn't work, lookup the server's IP address at any given time [netcraft lookup], and plug that IP address into the following url (replace the x's):
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/servlet/varsitech.anonycat.AnonycatServlet

4. Read the FAQ (or Google's cache of it) for more options.
