2002 – AnswerConnect was founded as an inbound answering service.
Initially AnswerConnect was made up of a small number of call processing "agents" and third-party call processing technology.
2004 – Expanding from simply answering inbound calls, AnswerConnect shifted focus to developing web-enabled agent desktop environments and integrated customer care support.
Additional services offered by AnswerConnect from this point are; live order processing, appointment setting, event registration, call patching (connecting two parties via a live operator), and voicemail to email services.
2007 – As part of the company's efforts to lessening its environmental impact (reducing its carbon footprint, cutting down on electronic waste, etc.), AnswerConnect began testing the use of remote (at-home) phone agents.
