Anthony Anderson, a former soldier in the British army, was sentenced in October, 2007 to three years in prison for urinating on a dying woman in July, 2007 in Hartlepool, UK. The victim, a 50-year-old named Christine Lakinski, was suffering from fatal pancreatic failure. According to news reports, Lakinski suffered from curvature of the spine and learning difficulties, and was bullied throughout her life.

Anderson is notable as being one of the only people to ever be tried and convicted for a crime of this sort. His actions brought a renewed interest in the potential for public video uploading sites like YouTube to be a cause of antisocial behavior, as people like Anderson can be led to commit shocking acts with the goal of YouTube-fame in mind.

Anderson, who was 27 at the time, dumped a bucket of water on her and smeared shaving cream on her body before he began urinating on her. A friend of his was video taping the incident on his mobile phone. He is reported to have yelled "This is YouTube material!"
