Antipixel is the weblog of Jeremy Hedley, an Australian living in Japan.

The badges

The weblog is most famous for being the first to spawn badges or buttons in a specific small and unobtrusive format - 80 pixels wide by 15 pixels tall. A smaller movement has been spawned to create similar buttons for links to, for example, the site's RSS feeds and valid HTML, but also to link to popular web services. Distinguishing features of the badges include a single pixel border (which often also splits the badge in a left and a right side) and the use of a pixel font, Jason Kottke's Silkscreen.

Due to their place of inception, the badges are colloquially referred to as "Antipixel badges".
