Antoine Fuqua (born May 30, 1966) is an American film director.

After beginning his career directing music videos for popular artists like Toni Braxton and Prince, he became a successful film director. He is perhaps best-known for the award-winning film Training Day. Fuqua was scheduled to direct Prisoners,[1] based on a storybook from Aaron Guzikowski, but has left the project.[2]
CBS Films has hired Antoine Fuqua to direct the new Vince Flynn movie. The movie will be based on Consent to Kill.
Fuqua was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduating from Taylor Allderdice High School in 1983. Fuqua attended West Virginia University and West Virginia State College but did not graduate.
He married popular eighties model and actress Lela Rochon in April 1999. Fuqua has three children: Zachary Fuqua, from a previous relationship, and Asia and Brando Fuqua with wife Lela.[3]
