Aporia Cross-Media Entertainment is the new name for a company set up (formerly Naked Rabbit Studios) by Jason Chrest and Jessie Greene to create Alternate Reality Games and other cross-media adventures[1361]. The group gained notoriaty in 2006 when they released the grassroots game Ny Takma [1362] which genre insiders proclaimed had the best puzzle incorporated into Alternate Reality Games for 2006 [1363].

Games they have created

The following is a compilation and some details of the games created by Aporia Cross-Media Entertainment:

Ny Takma

launch date: 30 September 2006
conclusion: 22 November 2006

other information:
This game used a word for word cypher that was deemed to be the language of Atlantis. Aporia CME's development team termed this language as "Lanti"[1364][1365] (Which can be found here: Lanti Translation tool) and this puzzle was deemed best puzzle of 2006 by Brooke Thompson through one of the Alternate Reality Gaming Network’s weekly podcasts, while Jonathan Waite claimed the game itself was one of the best of 2006[1366].

A compilation of the storyline can be found through the Ny Takma Wiki which was composed by one of the players. There is, also, a lengthy(archived)discussion about the game through the ARG community site Unfiction [1367]

Aporia Agathon Project

This is the code name for a project currently in development. A public press release was posted on 22 September 2007 promising a unique interface, two years worth of development and game time, and that it is a grassroots effort.[1368].
