Arcipello is the moniker of the
British digital artist;
Daniel Conway. His digital paintings have
earned him wide internet fame. Recurrant themes within the works
include young japanese girls, gas masks and post apocalyptic
scenes. He is famously quoted as saying, about the creative
process, "it just pops into me head, then goes on the screen" and
persuades budding digital artists to "Go where the wind will carry
them".
Daniel Conway currently lives in South Shields where he
lives a hermit-like life of solitude. He currently spends his days
philosophing about life in general. An example of his most recent
work is as follows:
"And so closes another chapter in our
lives..
Fun times had by all and good friendships forged.
The
future is still unclear however I wish you all good luck wherever
the wind takes you;-)
Love ya all... You bunch of
bastards."
Although he has not been sighted for quite some time,
you will know if he is nearby ashe often announces his presence
with jis most unique catchphrase "Diddly Diddly". He has also been
quoted as introducing himself as "Diddly Diddly Daniel Conway" and
describing his proffession as a "Diddly Diddly Digital artist of
the web".
[581]The above is a picture of
Daniel Conway. This paricular picture prompted someone to observe
that there "is a lot of depth behind those eyes." There isn't of
course. Just sorrow. And a flood of tears waiting to
escape.
