Arcturus ~ The Curse and Loss of Divinity ~ is a Korean RPG game co-developed by Sonnori and Gravity Corp. Its game system served as a backbone for the creation of the famous MMORPG Ragnarok Online.

Info On Versions

Currently, the game is strongly isolated in the East Asia region because only Japanese and Korean Versions are in existence. An official English version was scrapped for reasons unknown. Currently there is a demo version of the English version available in fileplanet.com but sadly it is not free.

There is also a group working very hard yet lacking the skills of translating the game. The forum website of this group of people can be found at www.revolve-trans.org.

Game Info

The game will have 2D characters on 3D backgrounds and will make sure of such effects as alpha-blending, a camera that follows you, and Bump-mapping. There will also be a diary mode from which you can access information about your travels at any time. The soundtrack is filled with 70 BGM, ranging from classical sounding tunes to those that are heavy-metal inspired.

The opening scene which featured the song Open Your Eyes had a short animation which was done by Peter Chung who is famous for creating few animations like Animatrix and Riddick: Dark Fury
