Arman Sidhu is one of the top
AAU club
basketball players in Arizona. He plays for the
top-10
organization team called the Arizona Gym Rats
who have made their name in every tournament across America
including an amazing 23 state and 7 national championships. Sidhu
has been in the top 2 players in his team. After a sub-par average
of 6 points per game, Sidhu left the Gilbert Gorillas and joined
the Gym Rats. Sidhu has been heavily recruited by numerous club and
YMCA basketball teams. After dominating the
YMCA Jr. Suns program in Arizona, Sidhu took a
step up in the NYS league were he was known for his amazing 3pt %
shooting. He is a
slasher, one who attacks the basket and scores by
free throws. He averaged 8.3 ppg one season and then again scoring
6.9 ppg and right know averages 14.0 ppg. In the Sporting Chance
tournament Arman averaged 6.5 ppg. Sidhu once scored 56 points in
one of his NYS games. Another time he torched Sporting Chance going
of for 22 points, 21 against the AZ Heat and 22 against the Gym
Rats competitive team. His highest point output in club was 30
points against the Arizona Future. Sidhu led his elementary school
and his junior high team in scoring. Sidhu’s favorite player is
Jerryd
Bayless one of America’s best college basketball players. He
plays against High School players and does very well against them.
Sidhu has made his mark as the Gym Rats rivals make special plans
against him to stop him from scoring. He can play point guard and
he has excellent post moves as a center. Sidhu has to improve
rebounding as he goes on to a higher level. His most remarkable
effort was when he led Bogle Jr. High to an undefeated record and
2nd place in the East Valley Conference. Sidhu has won awards from
Herb Sendek’s basketball camp and many
YMCA camps. His most famous award was the ABL All-star
selection. Sidhu has won over 20 tournaments with all of his teams.
He has potential to play at a very high level. Sidhu is widely
recongnized with his smooth Jumpshot and very intense play. In
elementary school Arman Sidhu led Jacobson Elementary to a 8-4
finish but were eliminated from the tournement in the first round.
He scored 30 points against the eventual runner-up San Tan
Elementary.
