Ottoman Empire, which also ended the multi-ethnic ant multi-religious empire that lead itself to Turkish Nation State.
Republic of Turkey is a mono-ethnic, mono-religious society.
There is very small (150,000 people) amount of Armenians living in
Anatolia.

Nature of Turkish National Movement
Armenians compare the
Young Turks to
Turkish revolutionaries.
The perpetuators of crimes under this movement did not get punished.
There were some Turks that helped the Armenians.
Their action was not alturistic.
The Turks under desire to aquire a maid, servant, field hands, or even girls to provide personals helped Armenians.
It is also true that there were many Armenians who survived by forfeting their identity.
They were registired as muslims and given Turkish names.
Second class citizens
Armenians who live in Turkey are second class citizens.
Turkish National Movement and
Young Turks do not differ on how they treat the Armenians.
Armenians are always seen as a treat.
Prevention of Returning Homeland
The rise of
Turkish National Movement nullified the process to try the perpetrators of genocide and opened the way to state denial and suppression of memory.
Triple Entente made peace with the regime and do not reminded of their broken promises.

Financial claims
Armenians under
Ottoman Empire was a very developed society.
Armenians had accepted the culture of
capitalizm before other ethnic companents of the
Anatolia.
Republic of Turkey is profiting from these.
American Armenians have filed a class action lawsuit against "New York Life Insurance Company."
They seeked for their unpaid life insurance policies that date back 1920s.
In the law suit they said "killed by Turkish forces between 1915 and 1922".
New York Life paid the appropriate policies.
Nevertheless a settlement is expected to be announced.
The case has similarities to those involving unpaid policies could lead to other reparations.
