Armstrong Residence Hall is a coed residence hall in the Georgia Tech Freshman Experience.

Armstrong is coed by floor and is the sibling dormitory of Hefner.

The building is named after Arthur H. Armstrong, a professor at Georgia Tech who was in charge of the dormitories. During this time, he came up with a list of rules for the dorms and posted them on each of the doors to the rooms in the dorms, thus they became known as "Armstrong's Laws."<ref> Tech Topics</ref> Armstrong originally cost $468,000 to construct and was built by ABCO Builders.<ref> Armstrong Building Information</ref> It was recently renovated in 1997.

In March 1974, Armstrong was the site of mass nudity and streaking by the male students on the campus. This was done in response to just previously having admitted female students. They shouted "We want co-eds!" at the dorm and were thus showered with bras and panties. Some males attempted to get in, but were chased out with a broom by a resident adviser. Spectators numbered in the thousands on the scene and television crews, photographers and reporters came to report on the story.<ref> Streaking</ref>

During the Spring Semester of 2008, residents complained to the Georgia Tech Department of Housing due to the nearby renovation of Hefner. There was also construction within the hall with the addition of an elevator. The residents complaints (which included not being informed previously of the nearly construction, residents with severe dust allergies, and days without hot water) earned them a rebate of $100.00 for each resident who resided in it consecutively for the Fall 2007 Semester and Spring 2008 Semester.<ref> Auxiliary Services</ref>
