Arpen Kaur Thandi is a Indian actress. She was born on May 26, 1987 in Toronto, Canada. Her parents are Ajit and Manjit Thandi. She has an older sister, Fulroop, who is a doctor, and two brothers, Babek, currently studying at university, and Harj, finishing up his high school career.

At the age of 18, Arpen has become well known in the Indo-Canadian film industry, with major and minor roles in Bollywood films such as "Sada Pyaar" and "Bollywood vs. Hollywood." She also has an upcoming role in "Des Pardes" filming in Goa, India and Vancouver, Canada.

Arpen has also embarked on a modelling career, which began at the age of 4 when she was one of the first indian models to be signed with elite agency Sutherland Models.

Growing up, her mother was a former model who inspired Arpen to begin a modelling career of her own which eventually flourished into an acting career. Her participation in "Bollywood vs.Hollywood" was widely acclaimed by Canadian Critics.

Arpen is currently a part time student studying theatre at the University of Toronto, while filming in India and Vancouver. She is rumored to be preparing for her role as a student in the upcoming movie "A little brown in the city", at a local private school.
