Design & Communication
At Artlab, there are no
presumptions. We offer you a curriculum that is geared to equip you
for your professional life and backed by a highly qualified team of
creative experts.We strictly adhere to a student strength of 15 to
20 per batch and the internationally preferred norm of a 7:1
student to staff ratio.Our students are given priority in terms of
setting the direction for their creative future. Each of courses is
project-based and requires the students to conduct extensive
research.We offer two certificate courses at Artlab College of
Design & Communication.
PG Diploma in Digital Media
Communication with Honours in the following
modules:
Graphic Design Course duration – 1
year
Print Communication Course duration – 1
year
Photography Course duration – 1
year
Videography Course duration – 1
year
Interactive – 2D Course duration – 1
year
Interactive – Web Course duration – 1
year
3D Communications Course duration – 1.5
years
Students are expected to undergo each of the modules above
while opting to major in their respective choice of
specialization.
The Curriculum
Our
curriculum has been designed keeping your future workplace at the
forefront. That’s why every module is fashioned to build a strong
foundation while helping you appreciate the delicate balance
between technology and creativity. Our handpicked staff trains you
to explore the finer nuances that help make a difference. Our
unique course structure, creative methods of teaching and
individual attention to students have enabled us to aim for
international standards practiced in advanced courses of art and
design.
The internship period requires students to develop their
major projects in high-industrial quality that encapsulates the
entire creative process – from conceptualizing to
post-production.
Faculty
Artlab’s visiting
international faculty is exceptionally talented and passionate
about their work and about teaching. They come from all over the
world – Germany, New Zealand, USA – bringing in a variety of
worldviews with them. Their combined expertise and innovative
teaching techniques are geared towards ensuring the success of our
students.
The staff assists the students with art direction,
ensure they meet the communication objectives, offer technical
support and personal evaluation that takes into account the
student’s teamwork, creativity and expression.
We expect our
students to be enterprising. The student is expected to initiate
and evaluate his work as in the professional environment.
