Inspired by the closing of Sculpture to Wear Gallery in 1977, Artwear was a gallery owned by Robert Lee Morris that exhibited art jewelry in New York City, USA. It opened September 1977 at 28 East 74th Street just off Madison Avenue. In 1978, it was moved to 409 West Broadway in SoHo later adding a larger second store across the street at 456 West Broadway. Artwear Gallery closed in 1995.
The RLM Robert Lee Morris store opened mid September of 1995 at 400 West Broadway.

The gallery exhibited art jewelry by artist/designers such as Robert Lee Morris, Ted Muehling, Cara Croninger, Jordan Schlanger, John Iversen, Jessica Rose, Stephan Allendorf, Yukihiro Shibata, Laurence de Vries, Sachiko Uozumi, Steve Vaubel, Douglas Ferguson, Carol Motty and Tone Vigeland.

The philosophy of Robert Lee Morris and Artwear Gallery was "statement jewelry".
