The Valley of the Asón River is the comarca that covers the basin of said river and its tributaries. Located at the East of Cantabria, inside this valley we find the following municipalities: Soba, Arredondo, Ruesga, Rasines, Ampuero, Limpias and Ramales de la Victoria, the capital.
