As the Apple Turns is a website that presents a humorous take on news and rumors about Apple Computer in the form of a mock television soap opera. The soap opera theme was selected when the site started in 1997, during the 'doom and gloom', Gil Amelio days of Apple.

As the Apple Turns was started in the Boston area by Jack Miller and Katie Hamill, who later married and had a child together, leading to the demise of the website.

While the site was originally updated every weekday, like real soap operas, and in the early years often would publish on the weekend, the last few years have seen less frequent updates. As of 2005-10-12, regular updates have ceased. On 2006-12-13, the website was not active. However, on 2007-01-10, the site was live again, albeit unchanged. No information is available on the future of As the Apple Turns.

As the Apple Turns 2, a "parody" site, appeared in May 2006.
