Literature
Asgard is the name of a fictional
wonder-city, a city constructed not only to be lived in but also to
be marvelled at, in Jack London's Dystopian Novel, The Iron Heel. It was
said to have been completed in the year 1984.
Finnish Ior Bock, a former tourist guide, claims the
real-world Asgård once existed on the islands of Suomenlinna.
Asgard is the
home to Thor in the Marvel Comics Universe.

band White Skull
released a song titled 'Asgard', which describes the great hall

A race of beings known as
the Asgard are heavily referred to in the
popular Stargate
SG-1 television series. Here they are depicted as an ancient
alien race that visit Earth and set themselves up as protective
gods in Norse-based civilizations on other planets. They resemble
Roswell Greys from

In the "Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy", Billy is
accidentally transported to the realm of Asgard, having
interdimensionally switched places with one of it's actual
residents. He then proceeds to terrorize the realm, stealing Thor's
hammmer.
