  • Asgard is the name of a free multiplayer modification for the game Freelancer .
  • A building in the game Max Payne is called the "Asgard Building." The game heavily references other Norse mythology, such as Ragnarok, Valkyrs and more.
  • Asgard is the name of a city in Tales of Symphonia.
  • On the Game Boy Advance video game, Riviera: The Promised Land, Asgard acts as the realm of Gods and angels.
  • In the video game series Wild Arms, Asgard has appeared as both a friend and a foe.

  • Asgard is the name of a fictional wonder-city, a city constructed not only to be lived in but also to be marvelled at, in Jack London's Dystopian Novel, The Iron Heel. It was said to have been completed in the year 1984.
  • Finnish Ior Bock, a former tourist guide, claims the real-world Asgård once existed on the islands of Suomenlinna.
  • Asgard is the home to Thor in the Marvel Comics Universe.

  • Television

  • A race of beings known as the Asgard are heavily referred to in the popular Stargate SG-1 television series. Here they are depicted as an ancient alien race that visit Earth and set themselves up as protective gods in Norse-based civilizations on other planets. They resemble Roswell Greys from UFO abductee reports.
  • In the anime series Saint Seiya, the Bronze Saints battle the God Warriors of Asgard, in the Asgard Arc (Episodes 74-99) and in the second movie.
  • In the "Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy", Billy is accidentally transported to the realm of Asgard, having interdimensionally switched places with one of it's actual residents. He then proceeds to terrorize the realm, stealing Thor's hammmer.
