Ash Comics, also known as Ash Comics & Shows, is an fan, comic, convention that usually takes place every other month (February, April, June, August, October and December) of the year in Indianapolis at the Holiday Inn East 6990 E. 21st Street. The convention is held on Sundays from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. The Ash Comics Convention is entering it's 20th year of Indianapolis Comic Book, Toy, Video and Anime Shows. The Convention is organized by Andrew Holzman. Andy can be reached at 317-824-9602 or ashcomics@comcast.net.

The mid-size comic/anime convention, boasts about 300-500 fans per show. The entrance fee is $4.00. Fans can enter the Show for $3 if they sign the mailing list at the entrance or for $2 with their e-mail invitation.

Some of the attendees cosplay while attending the convention, but most are there to buy comics, art, and anime. The convention boasts "60 tables of Toys, Videos, non-sports cards, posters, gaming, Guests, Fun and 1000's & 1000's of Comics from the 1930's to now! Something for every collector." Comics are priced from 25 cents to thousands of dollars.

The Convention boasts an Anime room sponsored by the Indianapolis Anime Club. Anime is Japanese Animation. Anime or Japanamation, at the show, encompasses many types and art styles from science fiction to mystery to horror to something for the children and the entire family.

One notable guest is Stuart Sayger, the author of the Shiver in the Dark comic book series. Previous guests have included luminaries from the "Golden Age", "Silver Age" and recent artist, writers and publishers. Past guests have included: Julius Schwartz, Murphy Anderson, Don Rosa, Ron Frenz, Willie Peppers, Denny O'Neil, Mark Waid, Scott Rosema, Shelly Moldoff, Mart Nodell, Gary Barker and many others, including artists of Superman and the X-Men.
