Asia Song Festival is one of the most famous Asian pop music festival held in South Korea each year featuring Asian top artists from 10 Asian countries. The festival started in 2004. It is also called ‘A-Song-Fe’ or ‘ASF’ for abbreviation. The host organizer is Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange.[1] Ayumi Hamasaki(浜崎あゆみ) and ARASHI(嵐) from Japan, F4 and Fahrenheit(飛輪海) from Taiwan, Vicki Zhao(趙薇) from China, Leon Lai(黎明) and Kelly Chen(陳慧琳) from Hong Kong had their first debut stage of not only in Korea but also in Asian music market through this festival. Korean top artists, TVXQ, BoA, SS501, Shin Seung Hun, Jang Na Ra, Super Junior and other representative Korean pop artists participated in this festival. TVXQ had participated for 5 years. This festival is recorded and broadcasted by SBS (Korean freeTV), Fuji TV (Japanese freeTV/BS/CS) and over 30 other major broadcasting station all over the world include USA, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Finland, Bulgaria etc. The entrance tickets can be downloaded for free at the official homepage of Asia Song Festival (http://www.asf.or.kr).
