The Asian College of Science and Technology Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit educational institution. All its income is channeled back to improve its facilities and equipment in accomplishing the purpose for which it was established — to foster relevant and values-oriented education and training.

The school had a very modest beginning. Incorporated in 1972 as the Asian Institute of Electronics (AIE) by a man of vision, Mr. Constancio A. Sia, it started operations in 1973 with only 300 students in a few rooms of the Prudential Bank Bldg. in Cubao, Quezon City. The student population grew to 6,000.

The transition from AIE to ACSAT did not alter the founder’s compassionate vision of operating a “skills and values-oriented educational institution committed to help in the nation’s development through education using world-class and international standards. It continues with its tradition of training students to acquire adequate knowledge and relevant skills meeting the needs of business and industry.

ACSAT has continuously gained honors and awards for the high standard it maintained and the excellent quality of its graduates, many of whom emerge topnotchers in various examinations administered by the National telecommunications and won both local and national championship in various Youth Skills Olympics in the electronics and computer application.

In 1993, AIE won the National Championship in the electronics division in the National Youth Skills Olympics sponsored by the National Manpower and Youth Council. In 1994, it garnered the National Capital Region championship in the same division and received a Rotary Club award for outstanding community service.

In 1996, it again emerged champion in the Computer Servicing Category in the Metro Manila Youth Skills Olympics.

In June 1995, AIE, by virtue of Department of Education, Culture and Sport accreditation, was converted into a full-fledged college, the ACSAT.

Today, ACSAT’s main campus is the ACSAT CENTER at #1013 Aurora Blvd. Project 3 Quezon City. The Center is an 8th storey building that provides a learning atmosphere with modern facilites such as Air-conditioned classrooms, LCD and OverHead projectors, complete Library facilities, Electronic Testing tools and Equipment , Network VGA Computers, Internet Access, Audio-visual room, Gym, Simulated Hospital, Medical and Health Center and Modern and high-tech Caregiver facilities. The Faculty and Administrative staff are professional and well-motivated.

In keeping up with the founder’s commitment to help provide first class education with international standards, nine branches were established on various dates in strategic places of the Philippines — Quezon City, Dumaguete City; Cabanatuan City; Cagayan de Oro; Baliuag, Bulacan; Alabang, Muntinlupa City; Bayawan, Negros Oriental, Novaliches, Caloocan City and Lower Antipolo. The total student population has reached the 10,000 mark in 1996.

ACSAT continues AIE’s tradition of training students with adequate knowledge and relevant skills to meet the needs of business and industry. ACSAT believes that true success is achieved through discipline and hard work. This is why it gives just as much importance in instilling discipline and developing resourcefulness, perseverance and positive work attitudes in all her students via ACSAT’s values education seminars.

True to its vision-mission ACSAT will always endeavor to achieve the best to live by her motto of being “YOUR SCHOOL OF SUCCESS”.
