The AcerAspire
5670 is an Intel Centrino Duo-certified laptop released
by Acer in 2006 based on the Intel Core Duo Mobile Processor, Intel
i945PM Chipset
and Intel Pro/Wireless 3495ABG PCI-e
Mini-card.
As with all Aspire 56xx
series latpops, the product is focused towards mid-high-end home
entertainment. Its size, weight and battery-life may cause a
hindrance to the use of this laptop as a business mobility
product.
It is certified as Windows Vista Capable and
Designed for Windows XP, as it is currently based on
the Windows XP operating system. However, as the Intel Core Duo
only supports x86-32
(32-bit) processing, the laptop would not be compatible with any
x86-64 (64-bit) operating
systems.
