Astroseries is a free RTS (Realtime Strategy) videogame, created with the Stratagusopen source RTS videogame engine.
Astroseries features an interstellar conflict between several civilizations, from which the two most important are the Imperial Union (Terrans) and the Nagoran Empire (an assortment of different aliens).
First released in March 2004, this videogame has undergone several improvements.
While it probably requires some improvements, this videogame is fully functional.
There are other Astroseries being produced.
So far these new Astroseries are being made with the Macromedia Flash software.
The storyline of these starts where the story of the Astroseries RTS left off.
The ones finished so far have been already released.
