Biography

Atlantic is four long time friends, who are first are foremost very passionate about intelligent, positive and uplifting music. In turn, Atlantic is an attempt to portray exactly what it is that the members of the band love about music. It is an attempt at impacting at least one person with the chance to feel something. The band's emotionally provoking music is intended to hearten listeners and awaken in them the ability to embrace the positive senses and qualities in life that lead us to learn from regret, and cherish experience of good and bad nature.

Formed in late 2005 as a side project of members of the Boston based death metal act Waking Judea, Atlantic has consistently written and performed live retaining a sense of atmosphere. While putting on an energetic, heartfelt live show, the band delivers passionately abrasive music with the intent of expressing hope in the form of positive energy, provoking realization of the acknowledged and unacknowledged aspects of life from which we are all inspired to create and overcome obstacles of the past, present and future.

Having shared numerous stages/floors with such amazing as bands as Life In Your Way, Trophy Scars, Fear Before The March Of Flames, Heavy Heavy Low Low and many more, the band approaches 2007 with high hopes. Aspiring to tour, write and record exciting new material, the band will continue to grow as people with same objective that they have held since day one: to play from their hearts in hopes of inspiring the disheartened.
