AuctionSHARK is a price comparison service.
AuctionSHARK.com was founded in Castle Rock, Colorado in 2005 by Michael Zak, whose original idea was to develop tools for online auction buyers.
This idea evolved into developing a new kind of shopping comparison website - one that would allow users to search and compare from both online auctions and online stores on one site.
Instead of buyers going back and forth between sites like eBay & Amazon.com, users could enter a search on one site and see the results from many sites all on AuctionSHARK.com.
AuctionSHARK launched its beta site in August of 2005, with th ability to search eBay Auctions & Stores, Overstock Auctions, Yahoo Auctions, and Amazon.com.
AuctionSHARK.com was re-launched in September 2006 with a new site design and now searches millions of product listings from thousands of online stores and millions of online auction sellers.
