The Audubon Ballroom, named after the site where Malcolm X was shot, is a supposedly terrorist organization in the Honorverse, a fictional universe based upon the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. The Ballroom, as it is informally referred to, is dedicated to fighting genetic slavery and specializes in assassinations and other publicly visible acts against those who are involved in genetic slavery. All members of the Audobon Ballroom are themselves escaped slaves and all members are proscribed throughout nearly the entire Galaxy as terrorists, as is commonly the lot of freedom fighters. The Audubon Ballroom has long been led by Jeremy X, the "most notorious terrorist in the Galaxy". The last name of X is used by all members of the Audubon Ballroom as a reminder of their background.

Most ex-slaves support the goals of the Ballroom, although many do not support their methods. The most prominent of thse is W.E.B. Du Havel, a prominent slave born political scientist. There are a handful of people who, while not members, have strong associations with the Ballroom. The most notable of these are Catherine Montaigne, former Countess of the Tor and Anton Zilwicki
